Updated Playoff schedule

Greetings one and all. After much discussion between the playoff organisational team, we have decided to make some adjustments to the playoff schedule. This is due to the crossover with the HGC Mid-Season Clash, as under the previous schedule we would have had our main 2 days coincide with the opening group games for Clash. This was discussed with multiple playoff eligible captains, and the overwhelming feedback we got was that they would prefer this not to happen. So, the new schedule for playoffs is as follows. 

• Upper Bracket Round 1: 05/06 – 11/06 (matches to be arranged by teams)
• Lower (Losers) Bracket Round 1: 20/06 – 24/06 (matches to be arranged by teams)
• Remaining Rounds: 24/06 – 25/06

As you can see, we are taking advantage of the delay to spread out the playoffs a little, which should make the schedule for the final weekend a bit easier for the teams that get to the finals. 

Playoff Qualification 

The top 8 teams of Divison 1, the top 4 teams of Division 2, the top 2 teams of Division 3, and the top teams of Division 4 and 5 will be qualified for the 16 teams Double Elimination Tournament deciding who wins Heroes Lounge Season 3. Ranking of teams will be determined by the number of wins. In the case of a tie it will be based upon results from the matches previously played between the teams during the season. If these criteria do not lead to a distinct selection of teams, BO3 tiebreakers must be played on the weekend of 3rd/4th June 2017, latest by Sunday the 4th of June.
