After one month of sign ups, over 500 registered users forming 81 teams, season 2 is finally here. I honestly can’t thank everyone enough who signed up and will be participating in the league. I have no doubt that it's going to be absolutely incredible and I can’t wait for the season to start on Monday.
As you may have seen, you can now view all the divisions on our website. This means it's now possible to see who might be your potential opponents over the next 9 rounds. Go check it out! --- Talking of opponents, we have some important information on matchmaking and score reporting that we would like to share before the season starts. At 23:59 tonight on December 4th all teams will receive their very first opponent for the next week and continue to get a new one every week until the season ends (except for a break over the winter holidays).
This means that you will have one week to schedule and play your games before the next opponent. You can view your matches in your teams Overview. If, for any reason, you will be unable to play during a particular week, it will be possible to try to schedule the game outside of the round. If, however, you have to re-schedule, then please inform admins as soon as possible. Your opponents are selected each week randomly from the list of teams that are labelled as active. By default all teams are active for as long as they continue to schedule and play matches. If neither team schedules a match PRIOR the Matchmaking for the next round starts (each Sunday 23:59), then both teams will be listed as inactive.
If your opponent does not turn up to a scheduled match and didn't communicate with you, then please inform an admin. The captain of the winning team has to report the scores, submit replays (see rules) and draft links. However, both competing captains are able to do so. The replays have to be uploaded in the “.StormReplay” format or it will not be recognised. If there are any disputes or if the Score is reported falsely, then please let the admins know.
Phew, well thats about it for now. Be prepared to face your opponents and be as pro-active as possible when scheduling games! As usual, if there are any questions don’t hesitate to ask. gl, hf!
