Hi there, we have an update to share with you. Before we do we want to thank everyone who has been involved in the first season of Division S. The passionate players, the casters bringing you these amazing matches, the moderators from both Heroes Lounge as well as Nexus Gaming Series, who have been running the NA side of Division S, and all the others. It has been inspiring to see the passion we all have for this game, the community coming together making division S a reality, tuning in for the games, supporting their teams.
With that we'd like to confirm that we will run a season 2 of Division S. This news has taken a lot longer to get out than we initially planned. Our team has been working immensely hard on securing funding for season 2. Unfortunately we have not yet succeeded in doing so. While our team is still working on- and talking to several parties to make the sponsorship a reality, we decided to move forward without this for now.
This means that we will look at different ways of funding the prize pool. A part of this will be crowdfunding again. It would however be unrealistic to expect a similar prize pool without securing sponsorship.
This also brings some positives. Since we're not depending on a sponsor or a specific amount of content hours, we have more freedom formatting season 2. We have received feedback about the length of the season and have decided to shorten it to a single round robin for season 2. We will also re-evaluate the playoff format. If you have any feedback, anything you'd like to see changed make sure to hit us up!
We apologise once again for the delay in the announcement and rest assured that our team is working hard to secure funding and make season 2 a success.

In light of this we are currently recruiting volunteers to help with the running of this new season, the posts we are looking to fill are:
Game Admins: Admins will be up to date with the ruleset and be able to answer questions of captains and ensure the games run smoothly, you will have to be available during games, working in shifts.
Cleanfeed Observer: Someone to sit in the lobby of the games, streaming so other foreign casters can cast you observing.
Writers: Interviewing Division S players, writing up the status of the divisions, you can join in an existing series or create something new. Your articles will be featured on the Heroes Lounge website.
Graphic Designers: To support the writers and our PR team.
Social Media: Make sure division S gets all the hype on social media (Twitter/Facebook/Reddit), announcing matches, hyping up plays etc.
