Heroes Lounge S2 Weekly Recap #1

Start into a fresh season

The first week of Heroes Lounge Season 2 is almost over. Time to take a look at the things which happened in our **Heroes Lounge Weekly Recap**. Things started out pretty good having as a first matchup a team from a well-known Heroes of the Storm organization: **mYinsanity**. It did get even better by team captain Kitara announcing in the Heroes Lounge discord that a "special friend" might be able to cast the first game. What was likely got real and so Heroes Lounge started into Season 2 casted by the professional caster Khaldor bringing Heroes Lounge close to several hundreds of people.

Heroes Lounge itself got additional attention at another front with beginning of Season 2. The “James Baker” meme is strong in the Heroes of the Storm universe, so strong that even the famous Kaelaris posted a tweet about the Division 1 Team “James Baker” proposing even an ingame-mount with the teams logo.

The chances might be good that besides James Baker aka Kaelaris and other James Bakers, James “Bakery” Baker himself tunes in when the Division 1 Team James Baker goes into their first match-up against Gaming in the Rhythm tonight, Sunday the 11th of December, at 8:00 pm in the [Heroes Lounge](http://www.twitch.tv/heroes_lounge).

New casters everywhere

Everyone by now should know that Khaldor is an amazing and an amazingly professional caster and that Heroes Lounge can only benefit from him casting games of the amateur league. With the beginning of Season 2, the main caster team got with [Nera](https://twitter.com/nera_hots) from mYinsanity a really good and experienced new caster who already casted a great number of games of Round 1 of Heroes Lounge Season 2.

On Friday we additionally had another well-known person in the EU Heroes of the Storm scene joining the casts of Heroes Lounge games – [Jowe](https://twitter.com/jowehots). Most of you will know him for being coach of the very successful Heroes of the Storm team Misfits. However, this week he decided to try out the caster-thingy and ended up casting the Division 3 game between Fuck IDK and Stormstout Brewery. Especially lower-skilled teams should be able to improve their gameplay a lot with his advices.

More action to come

With in total eight games scheduled for today, there is a lot of Heroes of the Storm action to watch here at Heroes Lounge starting with the game between The Forever Alones vs. iNsiders at 5pm. In the night from today to Monday, Round 1 will be officially over and the matchmaking for Round 2 will be done. In order to prevent your team from being set to the inactive status you should use the remaining time to contact your opponents of Round 1 to schedule your game. If there are any problems, do not hesitate to contact one of the moderator directly on discord. Looking at next week, we are really excited to see how the changes of the [PTR](http://us.battle.net/heroes/en/blog/20379591/heroes-of-the-storm-ptr-patch-notes-december-5-12-5-2016) will affect the Meta of the game and how the teams in Heroes Lounge will make use of the new Diablo, Artanis and all the other Heroes which receive changes. As usual in Heroes Lounge, the new hero, Ragnaros, will be banned for a certain time and teams have to abdicate him until the week of the 26th of December.
