Heroes Lounge S2 Weekly Recap #4

Merry Slothmas and a Happy New Year

It’s been a while since the last Blogpost which was of course all due to the transition between the years and us partying hard and being lazy Sloths afterwards. However, Heroes Lounge only paused for a short time and since then many games have been played. A very special game was our Heroes Lounge Slothmas Special on the 30th of December 2016. Two teams consisting of casters fight each other casted by [Robb](https://twitter.com/RobbParris) on twitch.

Since the games’ draft were in a reversed way, thus, teams were picking the heroes for the opponents, we saw some crazy and funny games including Murky, Vikings, Chromie, and Gazlowe with even funnier casting and interviews with the teams’ player while the match was still ongoing. However, it was an awesome year for Heroes Lounge. Expectations of Season 1 were greatly exceeded. We have now in the middle of Season 2 over 1000 members on our [discord channel](https://discord.gg/GcUwud3), several hundreds of them online at most of the time. At the moment, there are 72 active teams in 3 Divisions. That’s simply amazing. With this week, we also exceeded the 750 Followers mark on our main [Twitch channel](http://twitch.tv/heroes_lounge) and we are going to celebrate the number 1000 with a nice Giveaway of a Battle.net gift card. This Giveaway will run over our [Twitter channel](https://twitter.com/hotslounge). More information on this will follow shortly, so make sure you stay tuned and to not miss it.

Round 3 & Round 4

We have seen a lot of matches during the last two weeks and it is going to get tight at the top of the Divisions. There are three teams in Division 1 running for the top spot in the moment from which [FAT #5](http://heroeslounge.gg/teams/view/98) still have to proof themselves today against the [Salty Clowns](http://heroeslounge.gg/teams/view/85). [Gorge good Ult](http://heroeslounge.gg/teams/view/67) have already did that with two wins in a row on Wednesday against [mYinsanity](http://heroeslounge.gg/teams/view/21) and [ProudBushMeta](http://heroeslounge.gg/teams/view/66). The [No Trick Ponies](http://heroeslounge.gg/teams/view/23) as the other team in Division 1 which have not giveaway one match this season had some troubles with the [Jaywalkers](http://heroeslounge.gg/teams/view/72) on Thursday but could finally decide the match for them. In Division 2 there are currently five Teams at the top: [CrocoDocs](http://heroeslounge.gg/teams/view/9), [Team Solid](http://heroeslounge.gg/teams/view/16), [Abatheurs](http://heroeslounge.gg/teams/view/29), [Throw Inc.](http://heroeslounge.gg/teams/view/45), and [StarBoys](http://heroeslounge.gg/teams/view/57). None of them have lost a match yet. Especially the game between CrocoDocs and the Abatheurs today is going to be exciting as one of them has to lose it. For the third Division we have to hope for the Round 5 to decide which of the Teams [Chirand](http://heroeslounge.gg/teams/view/49), [MEDIOCRIS](http://heroeslounge.gg/teams/view/35), and [Blackhearts Booty](http://heroeslounge.gg/teams/view/38) will be the top contender to take it all. All three of them already had their fourth match and won them all.

Super Sunday

Sunday seems to be a special day this season. Organizational Things

As already announced on our discord server, the new hero Zul’Jin will be globally banned for the games of Round 4, 5, and 6. At the top of the Rules section on HeroesLounge.gg you can find a list of banned heroes and talents and possible bug exploits.

Today at midnight, the new round of matchmaking will be done. If you have not scheduled your last games you should do this until then. Otherwise, you will be marked as inactive and won’t get a match for Round 5. If you happen to have no time during one week, you can always schedule one game in the next week instead. Sometimes days can be very busy and not all games can be casted or some of the games have to be shifted to fit into a streaming schedule. You as a team can help to run these things more smoothly by being online already a short time before your scheduled match, looking into discord on your match day to see if your game is casted and by whom and “/join heroeslounge” channel in-game. For even more Productionvalue and, as long as we are using external tools for the draft, you can already prepare the in-game lobby while the others team captain is preparing the draft. Concerning the newly introduced Tournament Draft mode in custom games: For the moment, this draft tool is not going to be used in Heroes Lounge matches. This might change in near future.
