After a rather long, heated discussion here,we have decided on the following format. We will have a 16 team double elimination bracket for season 2. The 16 teams will be chosen as follows: the top 8 teams from division 1, top 5 teams from division 2, and top 3 teams from division 3. The tournament will be seeded in order from the position and division of the team. Meaning #1 in division 1 will be seeded first down to #3 of division 3. There will be tie breakers to divide teams in each division to seperate teams at the top.
The schedule for the end of the season and playoffs will be that, as you may know, the end of round 9 will be at midnight on February 12. In order to allow all unplayed games to be performed, we will allow until February 18th for all unplayed games to be played. At this moment, any ties at the top of the table that may affect the playoffs will be performed on February 19th.
The final results at the end February 19th will then be defined for the playoffs will take place on the week of the 20th. From the 20th to end of the 24th, teams will be given the opportunity to play their round 1 match before the main weekend on the 25th and 26th which will host the major weekend of the playoffs.
