Master of Maps Tournament

Overview:

• Two days of single map gaming

• All matches played on the same map

• Two tournaments on each day, one open to div 2/3 qualified teams, the other to div 4/5 qualified teams

• Haunted Mines on Thursday 1/10 at 19:30 CEST

• Blackhearts Bay on Tuesday 6/10 at 19:30 CEST

• Double elimination with Bo1 games till the grand final

• 8 places available per tournament!

• Grandmaster of maps playoffs organised in the following days

Eligibility to play

Teams in the div 2/3 cup must have legacy placement into div 2/3 or a top 3 MMR below 3079.

Teams in the div 4/5 cup must have legacy placement into div 4/5 or a top 3 MMR below 2939

All matches will be played on EU servers

Format

The event will be played as a double elimination format over one evening. All games will be Bo1 except the grand final, which is Bo3. The team who enters the grand finals having not lost a series will be awarded FP for the first map. Games will start at 19:30 CEST and follow on games will be played as soon as both teams are available. 

Draft Rules

No unusual draft rules for this tournament

Substitutions:

If teams need substitution players, these players will need to have a Heroes Lounge account registered before 1st of August 2025 

A maximum of 2 substitution players can be used per map.

In the div 2/3 cups, substitute players must have an MMR below 3079

In the div 4/5 cups, substitute players must have an MMR below 3079 and must not be a member of a div 2 or 1 team.

Rules

The tournament will follow Heroes lounge banned bugs and cosmetics list, which can be found at https://heroeslounge.gg/general/ruleset.

Pauses may only be started for technical difficulties.

The time pool for pauses per map is 10 minutes, after which the game will resume.

Teams must keep replays up to 15 days after the matches. Replays should be uploaded to the Heroes Lounge website after each game. See the captain's guide for how to do this.

Grandmaster of maps

The winners of each of the master of maps tournaments will play a grand final on a date agreed by both captains to determine the true master of the maps. In the case that the same team wins both tournaments, the best performing runner up across both tournaments will be selected to play.
