What we're doing

On this coming Saturday November 10th 2018, Robb & Eef will begin a 24 hour marathon streamed game session at 12:00 CET/06:00 EST live on the Heroes Lounge main channel, with all proceeds going to the Children's Miracle Network of hospitals, providing urgent care to kids who otherwise wouldn't be able to get it.

Extra Life unites thousands of gamers around the world to play games in support of their local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Since its inception in 2008, Extra Life has raised more than $40 million for sick and injured kids.

There will be a ton of games being played, many that are open to people to join in! We will also have some giveaways for Blizzcon exclusive items, and some Heroes Lounge merchandise. 

As a community, we're always keen to give back to society and lend a helping hand towards those less fortunate. What better way than helping out whilst playing your favourite games? There will be a host of activities and guests throughout the day, so do check in from time to time and support us. Any donations given to Extra Life here will entirely go to the charity. We raised a little over $1000 last time, so this time we are aiming to raise $1250. For the kids.

The Wager

As many in the community know, I am a lover of a controversial form of footwear, the croc. I want to be absolutely clear, I love my crocs. They are incredibly comfy, and I wear them probably more than anything else I own. However, I know the community opinion on them is somewhat against them.

Believe me, this is a drop in the bucket of hate that my crocs get, and so, a wager has been made, for the kids. Throughout the charity stream, people when donation can either leave a message of #burnthecrocs or #savethecrocs.
Throughout the charity stream, people can leave either #burnthecrocs or #savethecrocs as a message when donating.. At the end we will tally up the totals, and whichever is highest, wins. There are a few caveats to this however. Firstly, we have to reach our donation goal of $1250, else nothing happens to my crocs. Secondly, we will be playing several games throughout the day that will feature Eef vs myself on seperate teams. For each game won by either person, they get to add an imaginary $50 to that sides total (Eef will be #burnthecrocs, I will be #savethecrocs). If at the end #burnthecrocs has raised more, I will destroy my crocs, and not replace them for an entire year. If #savethecrocs wins, I get to keep my crocs, and Eef has to start wearing crocs on a regular basis for an entire year. As you can tell, a lot is at stake for me, so I hope you will help me #savethecrocs!
