(Not so) Weekly Recap is back from Easter break

Hey folks, here we are back with our (not soooooo) Weekly Recap after we took a break of Easter last week due to friends … family … but mainly due to us being sloths.

However, over the course of the last two weeks we saw a lot of amazing Heroes of the Storm matches in Heroes Lounge. The new match making brings us way less stomps and fairer and more interesting match-ups already in the first rounds of the season.

When we now want to take a look on the rankings of the single division, keep in mind the qualification system for the Heroes Lounge Season 3 Playoffs in the week of June 5th, 2017.

Heroes Lounge Season 3 Week 3&4

Division 1

The top rank of Division 1 is currently occupied by Always Wu with 4-0 score. On Monday and Wednesday they managed to take down Gaming in the Rhythm as well as FalstadStillBugged with 2-0, respectively.

The second rank takes Heroes Lounge Season 2 winner FAT #5 with a 3-0 score at the moment. If they can remain undefeated will be decided today when they play against the Shishaboys who are currently on rank 4.

One of the top favorites last season, Gorge good Ult, are now on rank 3 in the highest skill division of Heroes Lounge Season 3 after they had a rough start into the Season. After their first game ended with a tie due to scheduling issues with Team TFT, they won their second match against FalstadStillBugged on Firday 2-0. One highlight of the game was the Grand Dragon Knight Jebait which led to an aggressive Gust play which turns out very badly for FalstadStillBugged.

In their next match GGU will have to play against  which are currently on rank 6 in Division 1 and won their Round 3 game vs Namez 2 Hard with 2-0. On rank 5 we have mYinsanity Heroes with a score of 2-1. They got their first loss of Heroes Lounge Season 3 by playing against FAT #5 on Wednesday, April 13th. In Round 4, mYinsanity will play against Gaming in the Rhythm  on Monday, April 24th.

One of the best series we saw this week was the match between Kendric Swissh’ The Swissh Family against the Heroes Lounge Season 1 winner Ponies with No Tricks. After a tight series after game 2, map 3 led us to Infernal Shrines. After a very strong early game by the Ponies, The Swissh Family lost their first keep prior level 10 was reached by them. But the Swissh Family put themselves together and managed to push back the offensive of the Ponies for a long portion of the game. At the last punisher, all three lanes got pushed by catapults on the Swissh’ core which was already at half the health while The Swissh Family decided to push with the punisher on the bot lane

In an amazing close finish, it came down to Cendric on Zeratul using his Void Prison aggressively to set up a Ring of Frost combo and therefore not able to pause the core which lost Ponies with No Tricks the game and the whole series with a 10 % core on the side of The Swissh Family.

On rank 8 of Division 1 sits currently James Baker who won 2-1 against Throw the Advantage on Tuesday, April 18th.

Division 2

One of the top teams in Division 2 is currently Estoril eSports formerly known as Falstad Air Travel which won against Starboys: A New Hope last Thursday 2-0. Their next opponent will be Boosted Bonobos. Even in score with Estoril eSports are currently Nightmare who won against PhD in Damage on Wednesday 2-0 and Bananas who won 2-0 as well against Team Man Bear Pig last Thursday.

One of the best Division 2 teams of Heroes Lounge Season 2 – Throw Inc. – have won their match against Lethal Grillfriends last Tuesday. Latter ones have played against Balance of Interest last Thursday managed to decide the series in their favor due to Balance of Interest not able to summon their inner Den Harrow.

After they managed to take down NX Gaming on Tuesday. The Praetorians are now on rank 9.

Division 3

The Division 3 rankings are at the moment dominated by teams which are new to Heroes Lounge. RPV remain undefeated on the top spot of the rankings by winning against Goulden Poulay on Wednesday, April 12th, and against Trus Issues on Wednesday, April 19th.The Cartvans on rank 2 won 2-0 against Senpais Groupies on Monday, the 17th. Their next match will be against Team Yin Yang next Monday.

Team Plasma was maybe the team which was influenced the most by the Blizzard server issues on Monday the 10th since they had scheduled two matches this day against Senpai Groupies and CoB Saltshakers. The first match was a bit of a Clownfiesta which ended with 2-1 in favor of Senpai Groupies. In the second match, It were CoB Saltshakers who clowned undoubtedly more and so Team Plasma managed to decide the series for them with 2-0.

After CrocoDocs won 2-0 on Thursday, the 20th against Freedom for Slothville, they will play against the Agents007 tonight. On Thursday as well, 30Seconds to Mosh won 2-0 against Magdeburg eSports. On Monday they will go up against Paradigma. Another Division 3 game on Thursday between Team Solid and Disruptors ended in favor of Team Solid with a 2-0.

On top of Division 4 we have the undefeated OrderOfGul’Dan who won against Teamism and Abatheurs on Monday and Wednesday, respectively. In Round 3 Informatik – current score 3-0 – won their Round 3 game against the Abatheurs as well. In Round 4 they will face Teamism but that match has not been scheduled so far.  On Thursday, the 13th, We are not prepared won 2-1 against Team Arsem! On Wednesday, Wisdome Comes won 2-1 against one of the top Division 3 teams of Heroes Lounge Season 2 - MEDIOCRIS.

Division 5

On top of Division 5 is at the moment Deported Support with an undefeated record of 4-0. They did not manage to drop a single map so far – not in their previous games and not in their games against HotsThough on Tuesday, the 11th, and 23 APM on Thursday, the 20th.

Another top team,Dropkick Murkys, have not lost a single map either. They won 2-0 against Puppies in Shark Tanks on Thursday. They will go up against the Low FAT Gamers today.

After Running into a Knife won against FAT #10 on Thursday, the 13th, they managed to take down Potatoes007 last Thursday.

One highlight of Round 3 we could see in the match between 23 APM and Potatoes007 on Wednesday, April the 12th. With a cheesy Medic Dropship core rush, Potatoes007 took a map away from 23APM before they lost the match 1-2.

On Wednesday, the 12th, Murky’ Slaves lost against the Low FAT Gamers. CoB Antimeta won their first game last week against FAT #11 after they got a BYE in Round 2. Today CoB Antimeta will go up against (-(-_(-_-)_-)-) at 19:00 CEST.
