Our final preview series brings us to the top division in Heroes Lounge, division 1. Matchmaking will run tomorrow and we hope you are as excited as us. This season we have memers Don Our Fedoras and much improved Need For Feed representing the Slothville at the top, along with household names CoopEra Gaming and Estoril eSports.

Season 5 starts Monday 6th November 2017.

Gorge Good Ult

This is GGU's season to lose. Having finished 6th in season 2, GGU moved up to 3rd place in season 3 before losing out to Dionysus last season. By logic, this should be their season to take the playoff crown and season champions. This is a well oiled practised team with a stable roster full of strong members. Morpheus leads a group with impressive tank play backed by 'everyone's division 1 sub' arguably best support player in Lounge Galnegunnar and top mechanical player Baroq.

GGU have a good grasp of the meta, but sometimes stick too close to HGC meta and their rigidness in draft might stifle their creativity.

bacciballum

Meneldor is back this season with a new team, picking up former members of TFT Owen and yggaM along with Kupschi formerly of Always Wu. philR rounds up the roster as the support. This is an absolute powerhouse roster if they manage to sustain the roster entire season.

Meneldor, Own and yggaM have struggled previously to keep the team going for an entire season despite doing extremely well throughout the season; both TFT and Guile eSports were favoured to win but sadly disbanded mid season. This may prove to be the team's Achilles heel.

TEEEAM

Newcomers TEEEAM have an imposing roster, may well end up winners of Heroes Lounge season 5. Dynamic duo HawaiooO and Asol are two extremely scary players, which will look to make plays and dominate their opponents. HawaiooO will look to thin the enemy with AD heroes, whilst Asol will look to impress with his mage plays.

Look for high priority for Valla, Illidan and Kael'thas.

Ponies With No Tricks

Never discount the ponies. Ponies might not pose the most intimidating roster, but the season one champions make it up with superior team synergy. Ponies have an impressive 100% winrate with Greymane despite being one of the most played heroes; but it is Genji who will strike fear to their opponent's hearts.

If Ponies can settle their consistency issues, and Cenric manage to wake up for matches; Ponies will always be a force to be reckoned with.

The Coordinated Vikings

drifer returns this season with The Coodinated Vikings with the legendary Karox and Nano. This may be a new team, but the trio are Lounge veterans with the latter duo being previous winners. Buch and XraYY round up the roster as the backbone of the team; it will be the trio of carries to provide the victories.

Karox will set the team up for victory on the off-lane, whilst Nano will look to continue to dominate with his mage plays, and drifer with his playmaking heroes like Genji and Tracer.

Will this collection of super carries find synergy in time to win the season?
