Are you having a hard time chosing a team to root for for the next Heroes Lounge season? Well fear not, we’ve got you covered! To celebrate not only the finalization of the Grand Rigging but also the arrival of our 4000th sloth, here is a little preview of the teams competing in what will already be the 7th season of Heroes Lounge! However, this wouldn’t be Heroes Lounge if we’d only cover the best teams here. We will also have a look at the most rigged teams and the teams with the largest number of memers. Enjoy the list and don’t forget to pick a favourite!

Division 1

SFD-Gaming

Okay, first things first: All hail to the kings of SFD-Gaming, our proud Season 6 Heroes Lounge Champions. SchlechteButter and his gang will return once more and try to reclaim their crown. Can they do it? Well recent results suggest they can, having finished in 3rd place in the first Open Division tournament. Make sure to tune in every time these guys play because you can just feel yourself getting better while watching these proud players executing at an insanely high level!

Griefers on Safari

The dynamic duo of griefers that is known Abathur one-trick Denker and even better known „Throll and Feeder“ Scionox has once more returned with an even more stacked roster. With a name deriving from only the finest of Heroes Lounge memes, they will be trying to be out of position often and early and so far, you’d think they were in Africa. Luckily, they now also have a voice of reason in the form of trusty high quality support Krisby. Watching them play is always huge fun, but better prepare your NotLikeSloths.

Don our Fedoras

What can you say about Don our Fedoras that has not been said already? It feels like they are entering their 8th season even though Heroes Lounge itself is only starting its 7th and they are still breaking rule #1 (NoEpixors) without ever getting punished for it. Jokes aside, if there’s any team that holds up the values and ideals of Heroes Lounge, it is this one and there is no way you cannot cheer for them as they walk the fine line between genius and fiesta in most of their matches.

The Good Guys

Usually, good guys don’t beat up on others, but this team is very likely to do so. The talent on this roster is over 9000 and they will be very strong contenders if they can find some team chemistry. Also while they might turn out to be the division 1 bullies, they are all pretty much likeable individuals, which is why you can root for them to demolish their opponents without feeling bad about it.

Division 2

Snipe City

Enter the winners of division 2 for season 7, team Snipe City. At least they should be unless major clowning happens, as this is this seasons most rigged team by a margin that can barely be measured in lightyears. Not only is this team a merger of last season’s teams General Raynors Interdimensional Exploration of the Frightening Incredible Nexus where he is Gathering Skulls and Throw Inc., but through some form of black magic they’ve also added former Heroes Lounge winner Rozmex and former Heroes Lounge problem Galnegunnar. This time, it feels like they can only grief themselves.

The Forever Alones

The Forever Alones have had some big changes during the off-season. Not only did they swap captain duties from Rabbit to Bayaz, they also added well known division 4 player and saltlord Cephiro to their active roster. Ok, so to be honest, there have been no changes with TFA and why would they bother changing things as they’ve enjoyed a run of successful seasons in the past. The only remaining question surrounding them is: Will Undead escape the depths of Hero League in time to participate for the upcoming Heroes Lounge season and has he improved even more on his trademark hero Hanzo?

Oil Rig

Team Oil Rig has enjoyed a pretty good inaugural season finishing with seven wins in division 4 and making it to the Heroes Lounge Cup. Being seeded in division 2 only a season later, they will now face some much tougher tests in order to continue their winning ways. There is of course a reason why they were put here, and that is some highly skilled new recruits, which lead them to describe themselves as OIL RIGGED now.

Division 3

LE GAG

If you have followed the last season of Heroes Lounge, you might have heard about a certain division 5 team by the name of LE GAG... who went on to win the Heroes Lounge Cup without losing a single series. Well they are now, for some reason only known to the main riggers, in division 3, which allows them to, once again, win the Cup before they are sent to divisions they should actually belong to. They’ve kept their roster mostly intact and remain a strong candidate to do a repeat of their victory from last season.

On Onyx Wings

What started as team On Ruby Wings has now basically become a cult with many followers, four teams and an array of high profile coaches. Team On Onyx Wings is their highest seeded team and the one that is burdened with carrying the collective hopes of those who are on wings. They have a promising roster and a knack for tryharding, so maybe they can give their community another reason to celebrate and have a party. Not that they needed any more reasons for that.

Sloth Sanctuary

Sloth Sanctuary is not only the team with the most awesome team logo this season, it also consists of some of the best known and most loveable individuals Heroes Lounge has to offer. It’s really hard to guess what their ceiling is this season, even though it is almost a certainty that Pittor has already hit it. This team of staff and casters certainly has what it takes to make it to the playoffs, but only if Lounge Mom TinyOwl can keep resident Latino Narsha’s temper under control.

Division 4

Potatoes 007

Remember last season when it was supposed to be THE season for Potatoes 007? Or the season before that? No? Well rest assured, this will be THE season for the one team that never makes it to the playoffs but still always wins. They’re a bunch of proven veterans, let by the omniscient entity we know as Zembar. You will want to root for them and you will most definitely not miss watching them play, because no matter the outcome, it will always been have worth watching.

Self Palm Khara

There’s a lot that could be said about the new team of our amazing music producer Myrmidon and their chances for the upcoming season. But why would we, just look at the team logo which is so amazing, they’re already winners. Send them those trophies Petman, nothing can beat those guys now.

Treehouse Gaming

Talking about teams with funny and awesome team logos, Treehouse Gaming is none of them, but they have one of the most fantastic rosters ever in the history of Heroes Lounge. They consist only of the most prestigious and best known Lounge personalities. Led by social media genius Eef, the team also offers popular streameress Penelope, the always power-abusing Robb and many more. NOZZERS! They even managed to pick up Froge, who is famous for his ability to never feed. If only we knew who that Cosmic guy was, maybe ask Petman if he knows.

Division 5

CoB Puppies in Shark Tanks

They are Puppies, they are in Shark Tanks and most importantly, they are back! Now a part of German community CoB, everyone's favourite Lounge Team has once again reassembled to make division 5 great again. We can only wonder what they have done during the past season. Did they practice in the shadows only to overwhelm there opponents with their new found power? Did they just take a break from the grueling life of a tryhard HotS team? Or did they use their time working on an additional team member? Only time will tell, all we know is, it’s going to be a fun ride with those guys.

Southgate Boiz

Is it finally coming home? This time around it is possible for the Southgate Boiz. They’ve enjoyed a successful year so far and things may only get better. You could really see them gel as a team in the last months and now they are on the brink of achieving great things. It’s always a delight watching them play and execute their gameplan to perfection with very few opponents being able to beat them. Look out for them to unleash a hurricane and always strike first, because they know that this will be their best opportunity to win the Wor.. Heroes Lounge Cup! Let's just hope they don't run into a Croatian team at some point.

Cult of Emperor Physicsman

The Cult of Emperor Physicsman, now without their emperor Physicsman, can only have one goal for this season: follow their emperor Physicsman... to division 4 where he currently resides. It surely won’t be easy without their emperor Physicsman. Cult of Emperor Physicsman is such a great name, it’s the main reason for Cult of Emperor Physicsman to be on this list. In the immortal words of team Cult of Emperor Physicsman: „Hail the Emperor!“

So many teams, yet so little time and space to cover them all! If you think we’ve missed a highly skilled, griefed or meme heavy team, feel free to ping or dm @juliandoom on the Heroes Lounge Discord to possibly get your team of choice featured in another series of season previews.
