Hail Heroes of the Nexus! The season 4 playoff draws have been finalised during our Heroes Lounge Draw Event this evening! It was an action packed evening featuring ties, suits, fedoras, special guests, new intro video and some sort of rig mechanism. In case you missed it, you can find it here.
Who won the favour of the Rig Sloth God? (no one, because rig sloth god as the name suggest is too sloth..) Which is the group of death? So many burning questions to answer! Thus without further ado, let us look at the draw results!
Heroes Lounge Championship Groups
As a reminder, Heroes Lounge Championships feature top ranked teams from Heroes Lounge's top 2 divisions. Teams will battle it out in a best of 2 round robin between 25th of September and 13th October, be sure to catch the action on our twitch channel.
Due to some administrative error, the championship will feature 17 teams in the championship playoffs which meant the first group will have 5 teams, with the 5th team being Pocket Toads who qualified this weekend over Gaming In The Rhythm.
As Group A having five teams, the fourth placed team in Group A will have the opportunity to proceed into the lower brackets of the championship knockout phase by challenging the lowest seeded third place team of Groups B, C and D.

There is no question that Group A is definitely the group of death. Grubs Sub Pride should undoubtedly come out of this group in first place, but positions 2 to 4 are all up in the air. Pocket Toads have a very marginal chance of getting through this group, especially with Team Replika from the final pool being drawn into this group. Team Replika being the biggest loser of draw will have to fight for survival against Season 1 champions Ponies With No Tricks and Guile eSports Youth but are believed to be sufficiently strong to challenge both teams. Need For Feed and Don Our Fedoras somehow magically managed to avoid both Groups A and D being placed in B and C respectively have a realistic chance of getting out of the group stages.
Games to watch for the group stages in the Championship is definitely the fights between Team Replika and Ponies With No Tricks. Having alongside Don Our Fedoras establishing dominance in division 2, how will they fare against the former champions Ponies?
Heroes Lounge Cup Groups
Heroes Lounge Cup feature top teams from divisions 3, 4 and 5 battling it out for our first ever cup level playoffs. Heroes Lounge Cup will run in similar best of 2 format between 25th of September and 6th October.

The draws have favoured MILFits in this draw, with no division 3 rivals to go up against and avoiding division 4 powerhouse Raging Xpress should look to solidly hold on to first place and proceed through the winner's bracket. Elsewhere, do look out for the amazing clash of titans between two potential cup finalists Leipzig eSports and Twisted Gaming in Group C.
